The photos are already everywhere. On your phone, in the shoebox, in the folder your mother has been quietly filling since kindergarten. A graduation montage turns eighteen years of them into a few minutes that stop a room, played at the party while everyone who got them here is standing in it.
Watch a Graduation Montage
Here is one we made for Bridget, from her first day of school to the day she left. About four minutes, the whole way through.
Every Cap Toss Deserves a Standing Ovation
Graduation is one of the few days where the whole arc is visible at once: the first-day backpack that swallowed them, the awkward years, the sport or the instrument or the thing they would not stop talking about, and then a person standing there ready to leave. A montage is how you show that arc instead of describing it.
It plays at the party, in the living room with the grandparents, and again years later when someone needs reminding.
What Goes Into Your Graduation Video Montage
Baby pictures. The first day of every school year. Team photos, recitals, the trip that changed things, the friends who were there the whole way. Phone clips, prints from an album, video nobody thought to keep. We work with whatever you have, in whatever condition it is in, and we handle the sorting, the pacing, and the music.
Gathering the Photos, and Why to Start Early
This is the slow part, not the edit. Eighteen years of pictures are spread across phones, laptops, and a relative who still has the good ones from 2011. Start asking sooner than feels necessary. A shared album the whole family can drop photos into beats chasing people one at a time, and it always turns up something nobody remembered.
Everything Happens in One Place
You get a private link to your own page. Upload photos and video from your phone or your laptop, then send that same link to anyone you like: grandparents, coaches, the friend with the good camera roll. They add theirs. Everything lands in one place instead of scattered across six text threads.
Drag the photos into the order you want them to play. Leave a note on any of them. This is her first day of kindergarten. Do not use this one. Start here. When your draft is ready you watch it on that same page and tell us what to change right on the video, at the exact second you mean.
Nothing to install and no account to make, which matters when you are asking a grandparent to send photos from an old laptop.
Choosing the Music
The song does most of the emotional work. Same photos, different song, completely different room. We will talk it through with you rather than hand you a list.
A Gift the Whole Family Watches
Plenty of graduation montages are not ordered by the graduate at all. Parents and grandparents commission them, and it lands differently from anything else on the table. It is the story of the whole eighteen years, and it keeps playing long after the party.
How It Works
You send what you have. We build it. You watch a draft and tell us what to change. We deliver a file ready for the screen at the party.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you film the graduation ceremony?
No. We are a post-production studio, so we build your montage from photos and clips you already have. If you also need someone to film the day itself, tell us and we will point you toward someone good.
How far ahead should we start?
Earlier than you think. The editing does not take long. Gathering eighteen years of photos from family is the slow part, and it always runs longer than expected.
Is this the same as a graduation slideshow?
It is what most people mean by a graduation slideshow, done properly. Not photos advancing on a timer, but an edited film with pacing, music, and a story.
How long should a graduation montage be?
Most land between four and seven minutes. Long enough to move people, short enough that the room stays with you.
Can you use video, not just photos?
Yes. Home video, phone clips, game footage, anything. If it plays, we can use it.
