How much lead time do you need?+
A montage typically takes about four weeks from start to finish, and we recommend booking about four months before the event so the family has time to gather photos and pick music. On a tight timeline we can add a rush: we reshuffle the production schedule, add editors, and work after hours and weekends. We have delivered beautiful montages in as little as 48 hours.
What do you need from my client?+
Photos, any video clips they want woven in, and their music picks. That is it. If they need help gathering or organizing files, we guide them through it. Everything is submitted digitally, so nothing has to be shipped or dropped off.
Do we have to be local to you?+
No. We work with families and planners nationwide, entirely remotely. Photos, videos, and music are sent digitally, and we handle the rest.
How involved do I have to be?+
As involved as you want. Some planners make the introduction and step back completely while we work directly with the family. Others prefer to stay in the middle and pass everything through. Both work, and you can do it differently on different jobs.
How does the client review it?+
They get a link to review the first draft whenever suits them, leave notes directly where they want changes, and send those notes back to their editor. We refine it until it feels exactly right. If they would rather just call, text, or email, we are glad to work that way too.
Can you add an entrance video?+
Yes, and many families do. It is a short, personalized clip that plays as the guest of honor walks into the party, and it pairs naturally with the montage.
